Hi guys. bergcrys and I have been brainstorming and trying to plan putting together a retreat. Personally, I would love the chance to meet you guys in person, and I think it would be an amazing experience. Right now, here's what we have...tentatively...
a weekend in Niagara Falls (Canada)
Sometime late June/Early July
planned activities:
maid of the mist
journey behind the falls
cliffton hill
casino night
obviously all activities would be optional and just a guideline of what we can do
We will have to set some rules in place, obviously, in order to ensure everyone's safety
1. NEVER be alone...get a buddy and stay with the buddy
2. If you can bring someone with you even better
3. Sorry, Jake, but 18 or older unless accompanied by an adult
4. Be sure to have someone aware of where you are going and when you're expected back
Anyway, it's still very much in the planning stages. If money is an issue, we may be able to make shared room arrangements for the hotels
Please let me know your thoughts. I'd also like to gauge what kind of interest there would be in this...if no one is interested, then obviously the planning would be a waste of time, lol
Okay, I will reserve the next post for finalized plans...the rest of the thread is for talking, brainstorming, ideas, thoughts, whatever.
