Well some of you may know I am a student and mother of a 9 yr old. I double major in psychology and english with a minor in history, so I read a lot. I also play sims a lot. I have discovered how fun building can be when you have the right tools and I thank you guys in part for that. I am also married for 4 1/2 years. My husband is away at school right now getting his Master's in economics. I look forward to getting to know you all better. Smile

I'm a married mother of 4. That right there just about sums up what I do, lol! I work part-time (although lately almost full-time!) as a phone rep. I am one of the few people working a seemingly meaningless job who actually loves it! Its fun most days, easy, and I get paid prettty well! It also has really flexible hours which is one of the main reasons it has worked so well for us. My hubby's name is Darryl and he works overnights at a factory making fiberglass rods for insulation.
Outside of work, most of my time is spent with my kids' activites. Have you ever noticed that the same people end up leading everything and volunteering? I would be one of them! Currently I am a huge helper and volunteer for my older 3 kids' 4H club, a Girl Scout leader for my youngest, and a captain for a Live Healthy America team at work. But the volunteering changes with the month! I don't mind, and I've found with 4 kids it's easier to be in charge all the time. I can control the schedule! lol
I've played the sims since it first came out. My hubby got TS1 for Christmas from my grandma, and he played for about a week. Then he let me play once, and he never got to play again! lol
More about me later!

Hey all! It's just me, wolfspryte! Shortened it for ease of use! Very Happy
I'm a divorced mom of 1.... he'll be 18 on Monday 1/18... Let's see, a bit about me... I'm disabled, and a lot of days it's all I can do, play the sims.. most days tho it's all good! Very Happy
My son was born with Tricuspid Atresia with a hypoplastic right ventricle, and multicystic hypoplastic right kidney... Ok, that's a mouthful! He only has 3 chambers in his heart, he's had 3 open-heart surgeries, the first when he was only 5 days old. He also only has one kidney, so we have to watch that too! They told me he would always be smallish and inactive... they lied! He's 6'3" and doesn't stop!! He's got more energy than... well, just more energy! Very Happy Just a point.. For his last open-heart surgery, they told me he'd be in surgery for at least 10 hours... at 5 hours, they beeped me... I fell apart, I thought for sure.. well you know... but nope, the surgery was done! LOL They said they'd gotten in there, and everything was perfect and they'd gotten him off the heart/lung machine in no time {they say it usually takes about 2 hours to "transfer" from the heart/lung to the patient being on their own}, it only took him about 1/2 hour. LOL Then, 2 days after surgery, his left lung collapsed and his right lung filled with fluid.. they gave him a 20% chance of survival... 4 days later, they moved him out of ICU and into a regular room... 3 days later, he was standing at the end of his bed and doing belly flops on the bed.. they sent him home the next day! 10 days after his surgery!! LOL He's my miracle baby!! All in all... it's been a great life... some downs, but mostly ups!! And, I'm living with the most wonderful man in the universe!! He's nothing but good to us, we have our little disagreements, but there's no "yelling" at all!! And, no hitting!! A change from my marriage!!
Well, okay... that was a book and a half! Very Happy But, I"m proud of my son... he's a good kid all in all!! A normal teenager!
Umm.. me,,, I'm usually playing the Sims everyday, especially in the winter, and on and off here many times during the day! Ya'll have a good one! HUGE HUGS to all!

Okay, I just registered and figured I'd get in on the About Me section. I'm 20, I'll be 21 on 2/19. I'll be doing all of the regular 21st birthday stuff, but I'm most excited about being old enough to buy a pistol which is funny to most people. I like guns and shooting and being outside and riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. My in-laws call me a redneck but that's still up for debate in my opinion because I like getting dressed up and doing girl stuff too.

This past August I celebrated my 3 year wedding anniversary and I started dating my husband 2 years before we got married. I have a 2 year old son who eats up most of my time and energy but I love spending time with him.

I started my sims 'career' with the Sims 1, playing at a friend's house. The first sims games that were mine were the Sims 2, which my husband bought me to play while I was on bedrest while I was pregnant and I haven't stopped playing since then =]

Hi, I'm a 40 year old married mother of 2 girls. I work part time as an admin temp, currently working for the local police (please don't hate me!). The hours are flexible and allow me to work around my children's activities. I've been a sims addict since Sims1 although I didn't have any expansion packs until Sims2 (all of which I have now lost to my children who are just as addicted to it as I am).

I'm new to the building side of things, but with the help Wink of you all at Builders' 101, am quickly becoming addicted to that side of the game.

Ok im gonna take the plunge and introduce myself. My name is Craig im a 43 yr old gay male that lives in Auburn Hills Michigan. I work in retail for a grocery store called Kroger as an Assitant Customer Service Manager which meanes i get to listen to all the customers cuss me out almost every day. A few years ago i was diagnosed with diverticulosis which is a disease in the colon that causes weak spots or pouches in the colon. I had my first flare up in may which i didnt know then what it was. I got up with the feeling i had to poop but couldnt go and it was painful but i thought nothing of it and got ready for work and went in. When i got to work everyone could tell i didnt feel well just by looking at me. It was funny because one of my cashiers actually suggested that i might have diverticulosis because her brother had it and the area i was having pain was the same place as her brother. Anyway i arrived at wor at 3:30 and by 4 i was calling my manager and telling her i needed to go home. She said it was fine that my health was more important and to call my co-worker to come back in to work. Well i went home and went straight to bed and by 11pm that evening i went to the hospital with 106 degree temp. After waiting for almost 3 hours and drinking some nasty contrast for a cat scan they finally came into my room and said i had diverticulitis which is when one of the pouches gets infected and inflamed and i would have to stay in the hospital for 4 days. In the process i had several flareups after that and ended up losing so much weight that everyone thought i had aids which wasnt true. All in all i had to finally have surgery in which they removed part of my colon which left me with a colostomy for 2 months. Then i went back in again to have the colostomy reversed. 1 yr after that i had to have yet another surgery to have a hernia repaired. Thank god i am healthy and happy and smoke free today. Anyway i love playing the sims on my days off and after work as it relieves alot of stress for me. So thats it about me sorry for such a long post and everyone have a great day.

And I thought my post was long! jk. I'm glad you are better now, Craig! Since we are discussing health problems here, I'll fill you in on mine. Well one, of mine, I've had several small "disasters" over the years! The biggest one was 5 years ago last June. I had a major stroke. I was riding in the car next to my hubby, we were with the kids on our way to a parade. All of the sudden, I couldn't talk at all and I had no control of the right side of body. It took Darryl a few minutes to figure out something was really wrong. He rushed me to the ER, and after about an hour the doctor diagnosed me with a stroke. By this time, my parents and my sister were at the hospital. Darryl and my mom made the decision for the doctors to give me TPA, which is a new drug for stroke victims. It doesn't have a big success rate, about 34%, and a 10% rate that your brain can hemorrhage and bleed to death. Lucky for us, it worked. By the end of the day I could talk, although I was stumbling over words a lot and had a slight lispe. The next couple of days they ran a gauntlet of tests trying to find out the cause. They finally figured out I had 2 holes in my heart since birth. One was rather large. They were amazed no doctor had found it before. ( I was 26 and had 3 pregnancies!) Again, luckily, they had a new kind of surgery to fix this heart defect, and they had a new doctor at the University of Iowa who was performing it. Its vascular surgery, so its an outpatient procedure. They put you under and make incisions in your veins by your groin and insert small tubes that go up to your heart. They then insert a titanium disc that when in place, expands to a small balloon, covering the holes. Then after about a year, scar tissue forms around the titanium, and seals off the hole. Isn't modern medicine technology amazing? So we did the surgery in September of that year. It wasn't really fun ( no surgery is), but it had the desired results. My heart is as good as new now! The most amazing thing was after it had healed (about a year) all of the sudden I felt like a new person! I didn't get tired anymore, I could exercise and play sports and I didn't have to sleep 10 hours a day! I never realized anything was wrong because I'd felt the same way my whole life, but obviously I wasn't getting enough oxygen. So much made sense after that. Anyways, I'm perfectly healthy now, and been given a new chance at a full life! Sorry that was so long.

That made my day Very Happy another person with the courage to down right admit their sexuality. I personally am not gay, but am active in making this a gay loving world Very Happy People judge me because I stand up for gay rights, but I think it's something we all should do, as they are just part of society. sunny sunny sunny sunny sunny

Guys I hate to be the big meanie but under the various laws etc governing the creation of this site... any site open to people under the age of 18 (evergreen) can not discuss sexuality or sexually related topics.....I know I know they probably already know etc but we do have to abide by the laws in the US... and there are some pretty strict rules the government has in place to try and protect those they believe to be to young to comprehend a subject. Doesn't matter who or what you sleep with gender race whatever we can't talk about it without running the risk of getting in trouble.

Trust me if we could I would be ranting about government idiots who cave in to conservative bigots and stick their nose in our business.

Ok, I've finally managed to find our new home! I guess now it's my turn to introduce myself. I am 52, never married, raised two wonderful, great kids on my own... well Grandma and Grandpa were a huge help when the kids were young, but they've both passed away quite a few years ago. I have a daughter, Dorie, 27 and a son, Ryan 24. I want to say right now, that if not for my kids I probably would not be here!! I spent several years in a very controlling, mentally abusive relationship which almost destroyed me. I finally fell apart, had a serious breakdown, attempted suicide and spent several months recovering from all of it. My kids were there to help me pick up the pieces that were left of my life and they're my heros! Ahhhh jeeeeez now, I might cry thinking about it!!! Anyway, I am doing fine now, other than a few left over side affects, living with my kids and working as a nursing assistant in a nursing home. I have been doing this work for years and love it most of the time! I work a lot with alzhiemers residents. Before that, I spent about ten years teaching pre-school. I also spent seven years in the air force working with flight simulators which introduced me to the world of video games and computers!!!

I've been a hard core simmer since sims1 but took a long break from it when life was too busy for games! Now, I have plenty of extra time to play and create! I found that it helps me work through a whole lot of my problems!!

Judy, I'm glad things are better for you now! I've been in some of the same types of situations and I know how hard things must have been for you. Thank goodness for your kids!

Well a bit about me. I am a long time gamer, I play lots of different games from World of Warcraft to the Sims. I enjoy the building part of the sims. I also like to play the game without cheats and grow my little single sim from a poor young adult to a full rich family. I use a lot of the legacy rules, but I don't do the large lot part.

I am enjoying working on my building skills, and would like to be featured someday.

I am married, 8 years now with two children Matthew 6 and Samantha 4. Samantha loves playing with doll houses and her "Guys" she so badely wants to play the sims. Everytime I boot it up she is like, I wish I could play that game. So she sits on my lap and we talk about the game, whats the mommy doing, where is the daddy. She has me zooming all over the game looking at what each person is doing.

I work in a service organization as a manager so I am always travelling. I manage 8 different sites from Salt Lake City down to Phoenix then back to the Bay Area of Califrornia. I go as far north as Portland. Gets pretty busy and sometimes I might disappear for awhile.

I really enjoy how friendly everyone is on helping me build better. It is a very nice community! Thanks for letting me be a part of it!

I'm glad things are better now, Judy! Children are always the biggest blessings!

Yikes Judy! That's tough, happy that things are better for you now! And your job. That's incredibly difficult too, you must be a very strong patient woman. Good job on your kids, I always think about how I hope I'm raising my daughter to be a strong independent woman.

Midnight-in the simming world, were neighbors! I'm in Santa Rosa Smile
