hey everyone, thought I'd get in here and tell a bit about myself for those that don't know me. I am Terry aka "TnT_Terry" in sims 3, "Tazz5640" in the sims 2 world and known as half of "TnT-Productions" in the Spore community which is also part of our logo on our cover pics in sims 3. I am happily married to the greatest guy in the world known as TnT_TJ in sims 3 and Terje75 in sims 2 cheers sunny

I have been simming since the very beginning, 2000...have every sim game, ep\sp ever made including the sim city series as well and began creating for the online community in 2005 and met TJ on the sterlingsims2 forum called the "simposium" in 2006 which we met in person early 2007, and that was all she wrote from that point on lol I love you We have been a team ever since literally I am moving to Norway permanently soon, as his moving to the states didn't work out cause I had lost my job 1 week before our wedding and was unable to find another in time for his visa to expire and his co-sponsors fell through shortly after that. But hail in those that cross our US borders illegally right? so much for US citizens rights when married to someone out of the country but oh well i am happy as ever to be moving here as I love Norway bounce

I created everything in sims 2 but prided myself on skinning the most, as simpe was my true best friend back then and i so miss it. I now pride myself even more when it comes to making sim faces of people in sims 3, even scared the hell outta TJ when he first saw himself looking back at him on my page lmao! lol! I love to create in this wonderful world of sims and having this community of such great friends to share with, makes it more inspiring.

TJ and I are big time movie and music buffs as well and we also love gaming on the consoles as well as other pc games. But we always come back to sims and spore. Funny story this...TJ bought me my much wanted xbox360 elite along with my Banjokazooie nuts and bolts for xmas and he is the one playing ever since, I don't stand a chance til he beats it lol...But gotta love him anyways Smile well guess thats it, see you al around the forums sunny

hugs, Terry

Welcome and great to meet ya! I find your story so heartwarming and inspiring! It must have been quite the decision, though, deciding on such a big move! Anyway, I'm glad you're happy!

I am also an avid gamer! Sims3 is my first pc sims experience, but I have a ps2, ps3 and a wii (all of which have been collecting dust since I got sims3 lol) and have really enjoyed the final fantasy series, suikoden series, .hack series, xenosaga series...well, anyway, I like the rpg's lol. I do like other things too tho. Just not a lot of senseless fighting...needs to have a plot for me to enjoy it. Oh, yeah, I like the Metal Gear Solid series too, and the Resident Evil series, Original Dragon Warrior series, zelda....ok, rambling...sorry. Smile

Anyway, I'm glad you've joined us and look forward to getting to know you better. Smile

Hi Terry! I also have every Sims game made and have been playing since the beginning. I also have Spore. (That was to hold me over until TS3 came out.) I am like Julia...nobody in rl understands my obsession with the Sims. I've tried to convert a few but didn't succeed. Sad I am also like Cera...my husband was my boss too. Smile Like I said before...I loved your poem. You know who else likes to write poetry....nam.

affraid Wow what a marvelous welcome commitee you guys all make me feel warm and fuzzy inside flower sunny

simtweek. I have been writing poetry since I was like 14 and yoko actually has the first poem I ever wrote for a up and coming video, so keep your eyes peeled. I can't post the poem or it would give his video away so you will have to wait Razz But I have somewhere around 25 that I have written to or for TJ alone, it's my solitude and stress relieving device to get away from the mad world we live in. tongue welll so is sims but.........lol having a backup system never hurts lol tongue Thanks again though.

Nam...I would really love to see some of your poetry if you feel like you could share that is Smile As for gaming you and my sister-in-law would be best of friends, maybe you were twins separated at birth lol. If you like dragon origin series then you simply must get Dragon age and Demons soul, they are both a must have and the graphics will blow your mind as well as the whole experience. I love to watch these games being played, it's like a major story to be told. As for me, I like playing my classics like mario 64, mario sunshine for the gamecube, mario galaxy for the Wii, Donkey Kong 64, Tonic Trouble 64, Rayman series for the gamecube, Frogger 64 and gamecube, Banjokazzooie and Banjotooie 64 as well as TJ just bought me the new banjokazooie Nuts & bolts for xbox 360 and the Elite system for xmas and he is the one hogging my game, so I won't have a chance at it until he beats the dang thing lol. tongue lol!

Cera: you are more than welcome to stay with us if you really want to come here, we have met many friends in RL through the sims and intend on continuing to do so. We actually traveled all over the eastern US together meeting many along the way as well as a simposium convention we held in Vegas that year. I was also fortunate enough to be invited to the spore galactic adventures camp in cali last year and met many more new friends we had been communicating with online, including my best friend Deb in Canada who I have been chatting on msgr for years. sunny TJ and I feel very fortunate to have met so many wonderful friends in both communities. He unfortunately was unable to go to the spore camp due to the fact that he had just returned home to Norway 1 month before so he couldn't travel back to the sates on such short notice sadly Neutral But he felt he was there with me in spirit Smile

So when we say that we know someone, we have actually met in RL as well lol...just to name a few, ehaught58, sterlingdt, grammagail56, simooligan,Wchryl (can't remember the numbers on hers lol), TulaTara, TLCgingergirl, Gryphon57 (my best firend Deb), Nijhofvirra, as well as like 9 more in the spore community. I truly wouldn't trade one second of any moment with any of these treasured friends and only hope to meet many more Very Happy

JadedCat1983 & juliababyjen wow, nice to meet others who understand this new version of a penpal relationship. My family and friends gave me so much grief it was unreal and some still do like my Mom, even though we were married
1 1\2 years go...ugh What a Face My first 2 marriages were both abusive and total failure and here I finally meet a man thattreats me like gold and all I get is grief...grrr...go figure eh? But oh well they will all simply have to get over themselves cause TJ and I are in it for life flower So how long have you 2 been married and where online did you meet?

hugs, Terry

Well Alex and I have been together for 5 years now... married for the last 8 months... we met on bondage.com through mutual friends who thought we would enjoy talking.. we chatted for 6 months. At the time I drove 18 wheelers cross country so when we wanted to meet I got a load to boston and took a week off. 2 months later we were living together a month after that I ended up having major surgery. And when he willingly took care of me while I was sick (not fun ) My parents and I knew he was perfect. When I willingly stayed in a place with snow to be near him my parents knew I loved him. And then when I got incredibly sick that winter as I always do when its cold he packed up everything and moved to Texas leaving all of his friends etc so he could be with me in a place where I would stay healthy.

His parents don't particularly care for me... they hate tattoed truck driving girls...lol. But my parents consider him a son just like their 2 biological ones and like my 2 sister's guys. They call him the Psuedo son #4....lol

He doesn't mind that I can't work and that I stay at home and cook instead of having a career. And I try not to mind him spending 4-5 hours a day playing video games on the xbox....lol I have a hot temper and he doesn't have a temper at all... so if I lose my temper he starts doing dishes and cleaning until I stop being irritable.. then he says "Now that my sweet wife is back can I go play video games again?"

Ahhh cute story Jaded! I also write poetry for my hubby, but haven't in awhile. I made him a whole big book of it for our 1st anniversary. I try to write him a new one every year to put in his book. He absolutely loves it. I probably won't share any, they are pretty personal and a few are "naughty" so I couldn't post them here anyways!

I've know my hubby since I was 16. We worked together at my part-time job, in an outlet clothing store. He is 5 1/2 years older than me. We starting dating when I was 18. Married when I was 20. Had 3 kids by the time I was 21! Things kind of took on a life of there own! Now he's 38 and I'm 32 and we have 4 beautiful children, a partially finished remodeled home (more undone the done LOL), 1 van and lots of computers (for him) and books (for me)! And of course, each other!

ROFL @ your hubby!!! OMG I used to drive myself, how likely is that eh? I ran for Bekin Van Lines commercial division and Lazyboy when I lived in Florida many eons ago. And how funny is it that you two met on Bondage when TJ and I both belong to Alt.com affraid But I never knew this side of myself until TJ came along lol! lol! And I lived in Massachussets before moving to Tennessee 13 years ago and here I am moving to Norway now lol pirat Wow what a small world eh?

aha Julie, you snuck in here while I was posting lol. Funy thing with your poetry, alot of my poems to TJ are on the naughty side as well lol But I can understand you not wanting to share as I feel that way about even the clean ones, but I do tend to share with friens some of them.

Hugs, terry

Hmmm....Is it just me, or did it suddenly become very hot in here? ....

Okay, well...I've never belonged to any kind of site like that...am actually blushing right now just thinking about it, lol... Actually, sims3 is only the second time I've actually been part of any kind of online forum...I was a part of one called the Catbox shortly after leaving my son's dad...it is a forum which helps abuse victims get over some of their issues...called the catbox cuz it's where we'd go to dump our....well, anyway, lol...

One of the most rewarding experiences I ever had was when I was actually able to attend a retreat with the catbox ladies. They had chosen a location close to where I live and someone was even kind enough to help me out with the cost of the hotel as I was on welfare at the time. I sometimes wish I had kept up the relationships, but as many things in life, we grew in different directions.

This experience, however, has inspired me to start planning a similar type event for all of us here. I have a friend helping me with some of the planning process, and will soon be starting a thread to get some feedback and suggestions from all of you. I want to make sure it will be a safe and fun event, so I think we will have to place several rules, but I think with some careful planning and safety considerations we could put together and awesome weekend! I'm thinking of having it in Niagara Falls, as it is a tourist area (and local for me Very Happy) and there are activities which can be found for all ages. I, personally, would be bringing my son, and would encourage people to bring their families, or at least a friend. Safety in numbers after all.

Anyway, that's not what this thread is about, so I will move on, lol. Terry, I would love to share some of my poetry with you, and everyone, but I must warn you, a lot of it is dark and even disturbing at times. I may have to post them on my blog...at least some of them anyway. I'll post some of the milder ones here in a separate thread.

I also sing, if anyone is interested in hearing me. I've been making recordings online to keep track of my voice as it steadily improves after having quit smoking. (I have smoked for 10 years and have now been smoke free since November 4th!)

sunny Uhm yeah brought a fan along to cool it down a bit lol lol! But Catbox affraid affraid Man if that doesn't sound like a site like ours lol...I didn't have any opportunities on or offline when I left my 1st abusive hubby so you are lucky in that aspect and my 2nd marriage was mostly mental\emotional abuse and that is where my sister\best friend Sandy and TJ came to be of such importance to my coming out of my shell of an existence. So I look back on my life now with no regrets as to regret one thing sets of a chain of events and I wouldn't change one thing that led me to my TJ Wink My life is the best it ever has been now and all my past experiences good and bad are what make me who I am today, and that is something I am proud of and happy to be where I am. I would pass this advice onto you and anyone else that has been in our position, because it is by far the best way to put away all the madness Very Happy

I also smoked for 20 years and quit cold turkey back in May of 1993 and haven't touched one since, so kudos to you girl, stick with it your lungs will love you for it Very Happy I hope all goes well for your get together, we had ours in Vegas and had a ball. TJ and I wouldn't be able to come though as we have to save every penny we can to get me moved back here in the spring hopefully and it will be a long while before we are able to make any trips back to the states sadly Neutral
But from experience just plan a place that is central for all involved if you want to have a good turnout, like Vegas. We all stayed at the Flamingo which is the oldest hotel casino on the strip and dead center of all the action. It has also been fully renovated throughout and is very reasonable especially if you do a flight\hotel package deal Wink But just see who is interested first and go from there keeping everyone in mind during the final decision. Very Happy well time to finish catching up on DS's thread before it gets outta controll, so ttyl

hugs, Terry
