Annoyed with people today with no time

So, the last 2 weeks I have not had a day off by myself to get anything done. The kids either had snow days or were home sick. So I was looking forward to today, cuz first day off while everyone was in school! I had a lot I wanted to get done today. Cleaning, laundry, Girl scout leader stuff (and I have a lot!). I was hoping to load my game and get to play today, too. So this morning hubby and I had a conference with all of Logan's teachers, cuz he's not getting all his work done. OMG, he is the only kid out of the 3 to make honor roll!! Blowing something up out of nothing. Well, then we got home and Darryl wanted some "adult time" lol. Well didn't mind that so much. So I started getting to work, when Tessa's school calls and says they think she has pinkeye. UGH. So I went and picked her up and took her to the eye doctor. She is fine, her eye was just a little irritated by something. $35 for the doctor to tell me that. By this time, its 1:30 and I didn't see the point in taking her back to school for and hour and a half. So I brought her home and made myself some lunch (was a little hungry by this point). Then I got back to work for about 45 min or so, and the boys come home from school. Have to check Logan's homework now, and basically stand over his shoulder making sure he gets it done. Then the boys leave to go play at a friends. Then Alison calls me from school. She had a basketball game at 6:30 and was staying after school to cheer on the other teams before her. Well, she forget her tank top she wears under her uniform, and she wanted a snack. So I run up to the school to give her this stuff. Its about 4:00 at this time. I get up there, and she says, " I also forgot a scrunchie and my shorts." ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!! I actually yelled this at her in front of a lot of people, lol. So I go back home and get her stuff. I decided it wasn't worth going home for about an hour, so just stayed at the school until her game and then watched her game. Then came home, and made the kids dinner. I FINALLY got everyone settled and have a chance to get something done! Its now 8:07 pm. What a waste of a day!

I hear ya! I've had days like that, where I just want to run away...take a break from everyone and everything. I hope you get your day soon!

I hate days like that! They say "A mother's work is never done"...how true is that! And I only have one kid!!!!! I can honestly say I don't envy you...lol. though I'm sure it's all worth it in the end. I know I wouldn't give up mine for anything in the world...

Anyway, I hope you get a break soon...get some me-time in there, or you'll go berserk!

Julia you must be sending telepathic vibes to your simself because today in the game your Sim had a nervous breakdown. Was funny to watch now I feel bad for you.

I can honestly say I am so glad my girls are grown and those hectic got to run everywhere for the kids days are gone. I feel for you I really do.
