January 27 th maintenance

On the 27th of January I will be running maintenance and implementing any changes we deem necessary by that time. To do this I need some feedback from other members I know what the mods want or don't want and what I want or don't want but this site is about y'all members too so give some input and let me know what YOU want. If you don't speak up now you can't complain later. We want to know what you the user wants without any bias from mods owners or administrators.


1. Do you like the colors of the site? If not what would you change?

2. Challenges: fun stuff what kind of challenges would you like to see? ... floor plans? themes?let me know.


3. Work in progress: do you like having it orderly in separate areas for ease? or would you prefer it all in one group?

4. Forums: are the any other forums you would like to see?

5. Is there anything you would like to see added to the site?

6. should we have a motto?... if so what would you make the motto?

A tips and techniques section would be cool. I don't know if that's already on here in another section.

Sure. "Keep learning and creating" is a good one.
Please take the time to answer all the questions... that way I , MW Mag1 and the mods can decide what we should change and how.

1. Do you like the colors of the site? If not what would you change? They're fine - nice and easy to read.

2. Homework: Do you like it split up by type of homework ? or would you prefer all homework be under one area? I like this split, makes it easy to find. Maybe somewhere put a post that suggests what order to do them in so people can follow them all through if they want to.

3. Work in progress: again do you like having it orderly in separate areas for ease? or would you prefer it all in one group? I think this may make more sense in one group so that a WIP can be followed through from beginning to end in one thread and not having to start a new one each time you move on to the next part of a build.

4. Forums: are there any other forums you would like to see? Can't think of anything.

5. Is there anything you would like to see added to the site? Can't thingk of anything.

6. should we have a motto?... if so what would you make the motto? I like the idea of a motto but don't look to me for inspiration, that's not my stong suite (and yes I did work in PR but never liked it!)

I think it should all be in one area with sub topics for each assignment

Yes, I like it the way it is, it is very well organized.

How about makeover building challenges.

Yes. A motto will help to make the site stand out as long as it the site lives up to the motto. I kind of like the motto that is used for the M & M Builder’s 101 siggys

My only suggestion or request is for a story area! Ohhhhh and to continue doing the good work you're doing!

Are we still having homework here? Maybe someone could make some new homework specifically for here...lesson 1: How to read a darned confusing floor plan! Forget building it!

I think for the most part it should be together...but by broad category...like wip builds, wip machinima, wip stories and wip homework...if homework still exists...

I agree with Judy...we should have a place for our stories...or at least for hers!

United we stand; divided we fall....build on learning....design for a friendlier home....only stupid question is the one not asked
